Hi My dad commanded an ML as a very young man in WW11. Probably only survived because his petty officer was a Girvan fisherman! He was originally based in Stornaway but I seem to remember him telling a tale of escorting a floating dock to the far east!! I was googling that when I came across your site. He certainly ended up with his ML in Burma. Any thoughts on where i might find more information? Very interesting site anyway. Peter |

Well done Leslie - a great site! I'm a bit of a Jonny-come-Lately - driving ML long boats 1326 and 1329 in the Hong Kong Flotilla and very much 'small ships' during my overall time in the RN. Thanks for all your hard work putting this together. Best wishes Paul |
